it’s not that easy being green

03Apr11

I saw Ray Charles one year at Bumbershoot. I was in high school, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the most important shows of my early concert-going experience.

Sure was nice to be on Vashon this weekend. So mossy and green out there right now. We grilled steaks in the rain, and had lots of laughs around the fire. Real Northwest style. I slept like a baby, and in the morning the birds woke me up. It was lovely.

Click on this photo. A symphony of green.

I don’t know how those pioneers survived. They must have been cold and damp all the time. I am ready for some sun, for sure.

I love the greenery! Man, seeing ray Charles singing next to Kermit is both hilarious and incredible. Can’t wait for you to see the green oregon coast.
