about
i think life is fantastic, and worthy of documentation.
i probably won’t answer your comment, but i like it when people talk back. you can be anonymous, if you want.
every post title is a song lyric. but you probably already figured that out.
if you click on the pictures, they should get bigger. some don’t, but i’m not gonna fix it. you get the idea.
no one is making you read this so, if you don’t like it, don’t kick it over here. there’s lots of places on the internet machine to visit, and i don’t need your bummer vibes or mean comments. cool? cool.
if someone actually IS making you read this, tell me who please. because that is weird.
also, i swear a lot.
Have you seen the Canada you tube?
Is your name inspired by the Onion ‘Cat General’ news story?
Noticed your reference to “Gargon” in this story. My maiden name is Gargon, just wondering who that person is. (Is this from the PA area by any chance?) Thanks!
WOAH! I am pretty crazy about the fact that your last name is Gargon.
My mom comes from eight kids, and of those eight kids she is second in line. I was the first granddaughter born to her parents, and the fourth grandchild in a pretty close line.
My three older cousins, all sons to Aunt Pat and Uncle Joe, had no problem pronouncing Granddad. Even JoJo, who is only a year older than me. I, however, struggled with the word, and referred to my dear grandfather as Gargon
The name stuck. Every grandchild born after me, and man family members and friends, referred to Claude Mills Hutchins as Gargon, right up until he passed away last March.
Gargon was halfway to 89 years when he left us — a full and productive life. We still miss him. A lot.
Thanks for chiming in. You pretty much just made my morning.
Helllloooo Cherry Canoe! I have moved to LA LA Land to be close to my amazing little daughter. I am so glad I found your blog. It makes me miss Seattle so much, but it is warming to see familiar faces and here stories about what is happening. And I love your view on the world around. Thanks so much and I miss my adopted town!
Hey there!
just found your little webspace here, it’s very cool to read. even though i don’t know all the people or places you know, it still brings back some good northwest memories. very cool about the crocodile!
anyhows, i was inspired to comment because of a little case of the small world syndrome – when i first moved to LA, me and my girlfriend would spend at least 2 nights a week hanging out at 3’s. i even got to play dj there a couple of times, and Pat was one of our fave bartenders. we actually kinda stopped going as much after he left – just wasn’t quite the same without him there. so, yeah – we were excited to hear about his recent book – still waiting for it to arrive – and it’s somehow very cool and comforting to know that you are a friend of his.
hope all is well with you.

Let those of you who weren’t there in the beginning compare it to things you’ve only heard about. Luckily there’s no one left to dispute you.

I’m not sure who you are, but I stumbled across this and liked it. I love Modest Mouse, The War Room, good politics, and Mudhoney and you are connected to them all. Keep up the good fight.
